This series consists of claims filed by various state and national loan, finance, and insurance companies requesting refunds from the State of Alabama of loans and fees. Under the Small Loan Act of 1959 (Act No. 374), these companies are required to pay an investigation fee to the state, in exchange for the investigation of the company by the designated state official. Included are correspondence and claims forms.
